Sight words for grade 1





 Sight words are certain words that can be prounced without spell them

Sight words for grade 1 can be coded over here as examples of sight words for beginners.

Is.    Are.    This.      That.          Her.    Of.   Or.  Am.   It.  

Learning of students at grade 1 level is little bit difficult .Especially to improve english pronounciation at the beginning level is a difficult task.

So for students better learning different methods can be used 

Activity based learning is a good method of learning at the primary level of studies.

Prepare a worksheet of objects names in the column A and their pictures in the column B.

Now ask the students to match the objects with their names. 

For sight words grade 1 and sight words grade 2 this method can be used in a easy way.


Sounds of the words can also be taught in a easy way by this method.

Tell the children that two successive letter in the word phone represent the /f/ sound.

Ph for the sound /f/.

You can put students more and more words for correct pronounciation and spellings.

Here you can give a list of words to the students but wihtout digraph

Chair

You can practice more and more such words occouring in the text.

For sight words class 3 you can give a paragraph to the students and ask them to identify sight words and make a list of the sight words mention in the given paragraph
